21 year old Plantforce apprentice operator Ted Powell on using Leica Geosystems 3D machine control

Peter Haddock of Content With Media interviews Ted Powell a 21 year old uni student who went from sweeping the yard to a 'Fast Track' Plantforce Rentals apprenticeship in his year out. 

Here he is using the super impressive semi-automatic Leica Geosystems 3D machine control enabled Kobelco Construction Machinery SK210 excavator, with SMP Parts tiltrotator. He was given a chance by contractor Blue Dot who has collaborated with Plantforce to support the delivery of a major warehouse project.

He is also working alongside a Leica Geosystems 3D machine controlled Marubeni-Komatsu supplied D65 PX Komatsu Construction dozer, with experienced operator & mentor Niall O'Connell.

What is super exciting about this video interview, is we learn how young people can grasp this #3DMC technology and even use 'YouTube' to train themselves to design earthworks bunds!!
