3D collision avoidance zones for mobile plant updated in just minute

Thanks to the new Xwatch Safety Solutions integration with the Leica Geosystems MC1 tablet, its now possible to create 3D safety models alongside 3D machine control earthworks models.

To find out how easy it is, Peter Haddock caught up with Steve Claybrook at the Leica Geosystems School in Shropshire, who demonstrated the process on a JCB excavator owned by Explore Plant and Transport Solutions.
