ABI Gruppe launch new 26 metre piling rig at Bauma powered by a Cat Stage V engine

ABI Gruppe's new 26m piling rig takes advantage of the Stage V power and fuel savings of the latest Caterpillar OEM Solutions engine.

Mark Lee introduces Peter Haddock to its new flagship machine, the TM26, its largest telescopic leader mast machine with vibrator.

This machine is also super accurate thanks to a collaboration with Trimble Civil Construction to use 3D machine control.

Mark: "We have had a long 20+ relationship with the Cat engine team, and as a global provider, we take full advantage of its dealer network. For example, we work with Finning UK & Ireland - Energy & Transportation in the UK.

"When it comes to fuel efficiency, this machine, like our others, takes full advantage of our efficiency drive solution. This is designed with two key features. Firstly it allows us to cleverly control our hydraulic system to reduce losses between the engine and the main rig itself. Secondly, we can also adjust engine performance when lower demand operations take place. All of these functions reduce CO2 emissions and fuel burn."

It certainly is an impressive machine that offers customers an extra 4m extra depth from its previous largest 22m model.
