Caterpillar launches new 301 Compact Radius Excavator

• Seat-mounted pilot controls
• Two-speed travel for higher site mobility
• Folding ROPS for improved transport and access
• First and second auxiliary hydraulic options
• New gauge cluster
• Improved machine stability

Caterpillar is also strengthening the attachment ecosystem around the platform, with a new manual coupler, an A13 auger working alongside the existing B1 hammer and its clean-up bucket range. Planned availability for the Cat 301 CR micro mini excavator is early 2027.
