Peter Haddock joins Ian Billington, National Highways Innovation Manager onsite for a Futureworx 2022 show special visit. They talk about how drone use and other technologies are helping National Highways to improve safety and outcomes onsite, keeping people out of harm's way, by flying high. On the day of his visit, Peter also met experts from Sensat, Plowman Craven and HexCam who had all come together to test the latest technology as part of a major study into drone usage, capability and cost. The equipment I saw was worth well over £150,000 and the pictures/ video obtained by the flights is fantastic.
