Driving the new Wacker Neuson DV45 dual view dumper

Peter Haddock tests the new Wacker Neuson DV45 dual view dumper powered by a Perkins Engine.

For the first time ever, Peter gets in the seat of a Wacker Neuson Dual View dumper at its manufacturing facility and training ground in Linz, Austria.

This is the brand new DV45 model made in Linz and powered by a Perkins Engine, made in the UK.

It's a product that is now rolling off the line and will be available from dealers across the globe.

Peter: "For a small machine, there is a lot of room in the cab, and the air conditioning is excellent, as is the support from the seat, even when travelling over the toughest ground.

"For a first-ever experience, the controls were very straightforward forward. With the touch of a button, I could spin the seat around, changing the position to face either direction, which I demonstrated three! times from 2.10 in this video.

"And then travelling, it was much easier to have the skip behind me as this allows for much greater visibility, which makes you feel safer as well. It even has a tablet connected to cameras in both directions so you can see what is happening behind you. It's the same thing we are used to in modern cars now."

"If you want to have a spin in a dual view like I did, then contact your local dealer."
