Erith Group buys fleet of all electric Elise 900 skid steers from Kovaco UK

Peter Haddock talks to Plant Director, Shaun Bean who is responsible for Erith Group's earthworks and demolition equipment about the new all-electric fleet deal and how his team intends to use the 'remote control enabled' product to replace its diesel fleet.

In doing so, for demolition projects, they will remove the need for air extraction, diesel refuelling (charging overnight from 110v) and change the way they work. Shaun also talks about how the team has tested the Kovaco Company product extensively (including the 8+ hours of battery operation) before purchasing two new demolition spec machines from Cameron Duncan of Kovako UK Shaun even took some of the machine apart to see the strength of the steel connections to the main structure as the Elise 900 is designed as a 'kit of parts'.
