Flannery owned Faresin allelectric 626 telehandler from GGR Group in action near Birmingham

Flannery Plant Hire continues to invest for a net-zero future with a fleet of six Faresin Industries S.p.a all-electric 626 telehandlers with UK dealer GGR Group. Peter Haddock recently visited a depot supporting new road infrastructure for the Commonwealth Games close to the Clean Air Zone in Birmingham, with Tier 1 contractor Morgan Sindall Construction & Infrastructure. Here he met with Laura Bradley (Sawyer) of Flannery to talk about why it has invested in all-electric Faresin telehandlers and what it means for customers looking to go electric. Faresin and GGR Group have also supported Flannery with data collection from the machine fleet integrating with its telemetry partner MachineMax. This allows customers like Morgan Sindall to pull usage data from every machine they hire, and in this case, see how the equipment can support the planting of over 3000 trees on the project. Laura: "We are really pushing towards Net Zero and working together with our equipment providers like Faresin and technology partners like MachineMax. The world is changing, and it's great to see us all moving forward." And it's not just an electric machine that Flannery can supply. It's also a trained operator that in this case could have been trained locally at its Operator Skills Hub. We do love a positive story about electric plant usage. It's great to see a customer using such a machine for over 12 months, as it shows there are applications perfectly suited for an all-electric telehandler working both indoors and outdoors. With Flannery celebrating its 50th Birthday today, it's also brilliant to see them looking to the future by combining electric machines with real-time data for customers.
