Introducing the Kubota fully electric KC70H 4e tracked site dumper

Introducing the Kubota fully electric KC70H 4e tracked site dumper.  Product expert Gordon Smith talks to Peter Haddock at its recent press event.

Key features of the machine include:

- Gaming style fingertip controls that act as a safety shutoff.

- Full shift 48V batteries charged to 80% in just 1.5 hours.

- Large skip capable of carrying 700kg.

- The machine weighs in at just 590kg.

- Rubber tracks with a maximum width of 1058mm.

- Operator ride on platform.

- Simple controls with slow and fast travel speeds and quite a loud horn (see the video).

Gordon: “The controls on the machine are very simple to use, and operators love the simple fingertip controls as all you have to do to stop the machine is take your hand away. This also acts as an added safety feature protecting others onsite.

“When it comes to recharging, the machine comes with a standard universal battery charger and can do a full shift. We also encourage people to use the ABC rule Always Be Charging when the machine is not in use.”

Peter added: “Being a novice operator, when I tried the machine, it didn’t take long to master the controls, and it was surprisingly quick and simple to manoeuvre even in tight spaces.”
