Lucas gets on the levers and talks to Engcon at the Hitachi Dig Day at the Leica Geosystems School

Lucas takes on another dig day challenge with Engcon at the Leica Geosystems School in Whitchurch for the Hitachi Construction Equipment Dig Day. Having operated an Engcon tilt rotator over four years ago, it was time to see how the team has combined the attachment with Leica Geosystems 3D machine control on the latest Hitachi 160-7 Stage V excavator.

After testing the machine out, Lucas got the chance to interview Mark Clare and Andrew Badham from Engcon. Lucas added: ‘I thoroughly enjoyed the experience at the Leica Geosystems School and working with a few familiar faces from my last Dig Day. I look forward to seeing what Leica and Engcon have coming to the industry in the years to come and someday to be able to operate the kit again.’
