MJL Contractors invest in new Volvo EC350 with Leica Geosystems Machine Control

A new Volvo EC350 with Leica Geosystems machine control is a great combination for MJL Contractors operator Neil. 

Peter Haddock met Neil onsite as part of our South West Tour with dealer One Point Survey, and he explained how he is getting on with the machine and learning how to use the technology. 

Neil: "When it came to learning machine control in my previous machine, I wasn't keen at first, and it took a bit getting used to, but I wouldn't be without it now. 

"And the good thing is Rob from One Point Survey can dial into the machine to help me if I need any support, which makes a big difference. 

Talking about the new Volvo, Neil added: "There is a lot of power in the machine, and the new joysticks are very responsive. There's also plenty of room in the cab and a comfortable seat. It's a great piece of kit that's even better with machine control."

Peter added: “What I love about operators like Neil is they really look after their machines. The muddy boots were left at the door, and the cab was immaculate.”
