New battery powered EXVO EX245R Skid Steer

Introducing the new battery powered EX245R Skid Steer from Irish manufacturer EXVO, with expert Dylan Scott.

Dylan: “Demand for robust electric machines continues to grow, and this is why we have designed both this EX245R and its smaller sister machine, the EX227R.

“Both are wheeled machines, and we have a new tracked version, which we are adding to the range with all models manufactured in our purpose built factory in Monaghan, Ireland.

“As part of its development, we have already enabled the models for both hydraulic and the newer electric-powered attachments now coming into the market.”

• Rated operating capacity of 1250kg with up to 8 hours run time
• Single and Three phase charging options deliver 8hr or 4hr charge times from zero to full
• Touch Screen tablet allows access to extras like self levelling and return to dig
• Easy access and egress with a large cab and lots of glass
• LED lighting pack
• Up and over door supporting different operating setups
• Air conditioning is also available
• Radial and vertical lift options
• Tracked and wheeled options

Dylan: “We have also designed a quick change battery solution that takes around 10 minutes to slide one battery out and replace it with another fully charged battery. In addition, we have a telemetry solution that supports Geofencing and the provision of key information on machine usage and health.”
