Rental ERP Solution Revolutionises Falcon Plant Hires Operations

Falling in love with a cloud-based Rental ERP system….

Yes that is what happened to digital guru Melissa Bundy of Falcon Plant, a small rental business and CPA member with big ambitions.

Melissa was tasked by owner Aaron Walsh to ‘Go Digital’ as the business continued to grow, so she set about looking for a Rental ERP solution. Peter Haddock caught up with her at its depot near Bristol to find out more Melissa: “Having asked my LinkedIn network for help and advice, I looked at and evaluated a few different systems before I got in touch over the platform with Dave White from Infobric Equipment & Assets United Kingdom.

“He came in and demonstrated its solution, which is popular in Europe and literally at that first meeting, I fell in love with it. It was really simple to use and was basically gonna do everything that I needed it to do.

“Having the ability to do on-hires, off-hires, PDI’s, invoicing, and more from one platform with multiple users was great. 

And following our onboarding process, we have a complete end to end solution.

“For example, I can deal with equipment damage, exchanges, maintenance, billing, and even take pictures to upload of each item we are hiring before and after the hire.

And because we are now a dealer for both XCMG Group selling excavators and Brian James Trailers Ltd we can also manage that side of the business on the same platform.

“It’s also changed the way I can work and how the team works. All you need is connectivity, as it is cloud based. So I can now park up and upload an order or check the availability of equipment from anywhere.

“This then allows us to speed up the service to our customers who virtually always want equipment ASAP. We can even deal with cross-hiring equipment as our hire partner information and assets are already loaded to the platform.”

Commenting on working with Falcon Plant, Dave added: “Being one of the first UK users Melissa has been a great advocate for the platform and also helped us to develop it for the UK market specifics.

For example, they use the CPA terms and conditions, so we have now embed these into the rental agreements. “And the work we have now done with Melissa means that other UK customers are already benefitting from these additional changes.“
