Revotruck from Mecalac makes its UK debut in award winning style at Plantworx 2023

First launched at Bauma 2022 (see our video here ), Plantworx hosted the UK reveal of this innovative product, and it went down a storm, so much so that it won a Plantworx Innovation Award.

Peter Haddock caught up with Allison Sedgwick on the stand to discover what makes this newcomer exciting for operators and owners. 

Allison: "There has been an incredible response to the Revotruck at the show, with everyone talking about the great visibility we have achieved. And with the revolving cab, operators can move quickly to the front, back and even the side to unload and move around the job site.

"The rigid chassis and overall design also give the Revotruck a really low centre of gravity which also makes a big difference to safety onsite."

Peter added: “Powered by a Stage V engine from Perkins Engines Company Limited manufactured just a few miles from the showground, this is a very stable and powerful workhorse of a machine.

“And with the truck now available in the UK, it is only a matter of time before we see more of these machines on site, and the operators using them will certainly see more of the site as well.”
