#Hillhead2022 'Behind the Scenes Big Tour and chat' Carpool style with Peter Haddock and Event MD Richard Bradbury driving around the site in a Gator Utility Vehicle. The show is on from 21st-23rd June next week. Peter talked to Richard about what visitors can expect as we drove around the site on Friday last week. It's the largest (Over 600 exhibitors), most connected and most sustainable show ever. With new WIFI Hotspots for visitors and wired connections for exhibitors to show off the latest technology, it's going to be HUGE. For weather watchers, 8,000 biodegradable ponchos arrived whilst Peter was there and don't worry, there will be plenty of water. But we would suggest comfortable shoes as the site has been dramatically extended and perhaps some sunscreen! As we drive around, we bump into stands from LiuGong Direct UK, Volvo Construction Equipment and dealer SMT GB, Liebherr Earthmoving Equipment, Finlay, Hitachi Construction Machinery (UK), Miller Groundbreaking, Terex Corporation, Engcon UK Ltd Blue Group, Ammann Group, Bell Equipment UK, Meka Crushing Screening and Concrete Batching Technologies, City 1st OTR Tyre Wholesale Powerscreen, as well as solar powered cameras from BauWatch UK We also saw the big McLanahan Corporation and CDE Group washing plants being constructed using cranes. And not forgetting the all-important toilets from Wernick Events.
