ZQuip announces partnership with CASE Construction Equipment at bauma to provide an all-electric and diesel hybrid modular solution for its customers.
The team was also showcasing its Caterpillar 308 excavator electric retrofit solution at the show, where Peter Haddock caught up with Holger Pietzsch of Moog Construction to find out more.
Hopi: "We are now fitting both our all-electric and diesel hybrid modules to machines with a variety of OEMs. "And our strategic relationship with Case has also led them to showing off our system on its stand at Bauma, which has already led to a lot of interest." "Bringing in the diesel module allows customers using larger multi-module machines to get the best out of our solution, going fully electric one day and hybrid the next.
"It's so simple with the ability to lift out modules and replace them in around 4 minutes. "And because everything is integrated into a machine's hydraulics and wiring systems, you get the same performance and data as you would expect from the diesel version.
Of course, the electric solution will be a bit quieter. "In addition, we now offer 3D Machine Control integration with Leica Geosystems, as part of our retrofit, so you can further reduce carbon emissions by being more productive and efficient."
