Cutting waste, being safe and solving problems with the new AP20 AutoPole from Leica Geosystems These are the thoughts of Graduate surveyor Enad Gammoh and Undergraduate Beth Cullen of Suttle Projects who recently talked to Peter Haddock at the Leica Geosystems and One Point Survey Equipment Open Day in Exeter. It’s great to see two young people so passionate about joining the industry and already recognising the positive safety and environmental impacts technology can deliver. Peter was also really pleased to hear their views on how technology like the AP20 and its tilt function, as well as the handheld BLK2GO, can make their work more accurate. But more importantly for him, Enad highlighted the ability to use Leica Geosystems software to ‘Design for Machines’, which in turn will bring surveyors closer to the operator community.
