Steelwrist launch its new completely redesigned XTR20 tiltrotator and advanced control system

Peter Haddock caught up with Markus Nilsson, its Chief Technology Officer, for a walk-around of the new tiltrotator and control system to learn all the key features and changes. 

These include: 

  • 16-20 tonne machine capacity model, with more sizes to come for other machines
  • Fully Steel casted components and optimised tilt geometry 
  • Available with both S60 and SQ60 couplers 
  • New gripper with enhanced reach and functionality 
  • New integrated tilt and rotate sensor to support integration with 2D and 3D Machine Control from a range of suppliers like Leica Geosystems 
  • Lubrication free bearing and an all-new OptiLube system with a cartridge lasting six months
  • A totally new clever control system with remote dial in to support operators

An Installmate app to help installers in their own language all over the globe.

Peter also learnt from Christian Yanes in a video, coming soon about its new 'connected' Locksense safety system and attachments, including HCX compactors, MGX multi grapples and SGX sorting grapples.
