Steelwrist put on a show at Bauma with its new range

Steelwrist put on a show at Bauma highlighting new products, and promoting industry collaborations like Open S and the new Mic 4.0 machine standard. Peter Haddock catches up with Karl to find out more, starting with its fully automatic SQ coupler system for the compact excavator segment.

Karl: “SQ40 allows smaller machines to quickly swap between mechanical and powered work tools like grapples, compactors and pallet forks without leaving the cab,”

This allows them to maximise efficiency in tight urban environments.” Its show included machines from Wacker Neuson, Kubota and Volvo all showing how they could work together with its products and multiple attachments on the jobsite.

Talking about Open S and Mic 4.0 Karl added: “These standards support better integration across the industry, helping people to make the most of their investments whilst making it easy to embrace tiltrotators. Steelwrist even showed a display combining its tiltrotator with a Rototilt coupler.

Also following the success of the third-generation XTR20, Steelwrist introduced the XTR15: A smaller, more agile model and the XTR23: A powerful addition for the critical 20-22 ton segment.
