Broadford Surveying Ltd launches industry first AGTEK Development Company, Inc. powered service at PlantWorx Construction Exhibition 2025.
The groundworks estimating and quantity surveying specialist has become the first business in the UK to offer outsourced earthworks modelling services, helping to tackle an industry skills shortage, using the specialist ‘Dirt Simple’ software.
Talking to Peter Haddock at the show, Gareth from AGTEK and Simon from Broadford explained the advantages of the new offering.
Simon: “At the end of the day, people want to sleep at night knowing that their cut and fill or drainage takeoff is right and accurate.
“Companies can now come to us for a whole range of services.
Some just want us to help with their cut and fill and takeoff.
And others want the whole package, so we will rate the entire job for them.”
Gareth: “We all know that there is a shortage of surveyors in the industry and that tender deadlines are getting tighter, so it's important for business, large and small, to be able to keep up with workloads.
“That’s why Broadford approached us to offer AGTEK as a service to the wider industry and our growing user group.
