Bell Equipment launch new Motor Grader range at Bauma

Peter Haddock caught up with expert Jeremiah to talk about their brand-new G140 model on display at the show.

Jeremiah: “The range includes the G140, G160 and G200, which are all designed to meet different customer needs.

“The G140 features a 14-foot blade which is mounted on a sealed slew ring, requiring no adjustment. This helps to extend service intervals to 500 hours and cuts down maintenance.”

“When it comes to operation, we have designed the range so the operator has great visibility supported by a complete lighting package.

“And the blade itself benefits from a high strength welded construction, using wear resistant high carbon steel materials.

“At the front of the machine, we have reinforced components to withstand heavy-duty grading applications with a dual-position frame for different tyre sizes to keep the blade level and accurate.”

In addition to the machine itself, customers will be able to monitor the machine with its  Fleetm@tic telematics platform, whilst accurate grading will be supported through the use of 3D machine control systems from a whole range of industry suppliers.

Jeremiah “We’re an agnostic brand when it comes to technology and things like grading systems, it’s all about giving customers flexibility.” And the first customer to get grading will be in Australia, as the brand is shipping the Bauma model straight to the site.

Of course, the big question is, will there be an autonomous version in the future, taking what Bell has learned from its successful autonomous ADT rollout?
