Edge Innovate ScreenPro S16 targets throughput and wear reduction

Powered by a Cat C3.6 engine, the heavy duty scalping screen can handle feed capacities of up to 600 tonnes per hour. To find out more, Steven Conway walked Peter Haddock around the compact machine, pointing out its key features.

Steven: “The ScreenPro 16 features a 4.9m by 1.5m dual-deck screen, providing a 14m² screening surface. It comes with both apron feeder and belt feeder options, and a 13  cubic metre hopper, which is unrivalled in this size category.

“We’re seeing this machine used to remove fines ahead of crushing, which reduces wear rates in primary crushers. It’s also widely used in recycling, construction and demolition waste, reducing material weight early in the process.

“When it comes to power, the ScreenPro 16 uses the Cat 3.6 engine at 134 horsepower. We have had a 15 year partnership with Caterpillar and worked closely with their engineering team from the early design phase of this product.”

“This relationship supports our global customer base and focus on reliability and serviceability, which are critical to maintain the machine and maximise uptime.”
