Grease is cheaper than Steel Refurbishing a Kubota K0083

Kurt Mills aka Lord Muck on social media, talks to Peter Haddock about the refurbishment project he has documented on his YouTube channel (links below) at Plantworx Construction Exhibition 2023 on the Kubota stand.

Peter has been to auctions with Kurt at the Ritchie Bros. UK facility in Maltby, where he has highlighted auction lots for its online auctions at rbauction.co.uk

It’s great to see how he has walked through this refurbishment project with his audience and how he explained it to Peter in this video.

Kurt: “I refurbished this machine for a quarter of the cost of a new one… if you look after a machine, it will look after you.

“As long as you have a well known well, respected manufacturer, you can buy at auction from the likes of Ritchie Bros as the parts are still available. With a good brand, you have the backup to give an older machine a second or even third life.”

The Plantworx show was full of new machines and technology, so it’s great to see Kubota showcasing Kurt’s machine on the stand.
