HeronTrack to showcase Smart Sensor technology at Intermat Paris

The business has developed intelligent sensor technology that can be installed in or on equipment or tools to help track their location, and report on key information like hours used to support better maintenance.

To find out more, Peter Haddock spoke to Sebastien De Grauwe at the Intermat pre-event press conference:

Sebastien: “Our intelligent sensors are powered by replaceable batteries offering at least a year of life, depending on the size. They use different communication technologies, including Bluetooth Low Energy, to capture data from equipment or tools that can then use WIFI or the GPS mobile network to transmit this information

All of this data is captured and analysed in our HeronTrack IOT platform, where the end user will receive information and reporting via notifications in order to better schedule inspections and maintenance. We also have a mobile phone app for use on the move.”

“When it comes to sharing information our system is also able to generate a CO2 emission report, helping to take further steps in our users goals to decarbonise the industry. And, of course, keep on top of maintenance.”

Visitors to Intermat will be able to learn more about HeronTrack and its full range of products.
