Introducing the latest DV90 dual view dumper from Wacker Neuson

Peter Haddock stopped product expert Ian Wood as he was testing out the new model at the Wacker Neuson Head office in Stafford, and he explained some of the latest features in this series 2 model.

Ian: "The dual view has been one of our most successful product launches ever in the UK, and with this latest model, we have continued to develop the range based on customer feedback.

In the cab, we now have a new steering wheel and seat combination, which includes the removal of the central console, giving more room for the operator. The introduction of an air-conditioned seat as standard for the UK also adds additional comfort.

"And when the operator spins around the seat, they can now enter or exit the machine from either side thanks to a new fold-down armrest.

"With safety a key focus of the DV90, we have now introduced a new machine start sequence. This means the operator has to be sat down in the seat with the seatbelt fastened before the machine will start."

Each new machine is also fitted with the Wacker Neuson EquipCare telematics systems to monitor its location and health, which is particularly useful for maintenance teams and fleet managers.

Ian: "Using EquipCare owners or hirers can enhance security by geofencing machines, error codes can be sent to technicians, and other data like idle time can be made available to fleet managers. All of which help to keep high levels of uptime and machine availability.

The DV90 also comes with new hill start and skip mode functions, a front and rear camera system with screen washers and an LED lighting solution that improves visibility.
