Rail Live capturing 2 million points per second with Amberg Technologies

Peter Haddock talks to Ben Culley at Rail Live about Amberg technologies IMS5000 on-track surveying system. They explain how 3D models can be created on tracks of varying widths to millimetre accuracy with data exported into a wide variety of software solutions.

Ben: “This is such a simple system to use. Not only are we capturing key data, but we can also use the onboard tablet to perform a live running measure of clearance profiles, which are critical for hand back and safe permissible speeds.
