Say goodbye to clogged up drains on housebuilding sites

Peter found out more about this new product when he met up with Mark Chambers at Plantworx 2023.

Available in 600mm and 450mm diameters, it stops muck and debris clogging up drainage systems on housebuilding sites by acting as a secondary manhole cover.

Mark: "We have been working with housebuilders for many years, helping them protect drainage pipes and fittings while ensuring the right solid connections are made using our SiteStak system.

"So when customers asked us to solve their frequently blocked drain problem, which was costing a fortune to tackle, our design team came up with the MuckStopper. It's a simple, lightweight product that creates a watertight barrier keeping silt, dirt and debris out.

"Easily to clean with its own lay flat handles, it removes the need and cost of jetting or manually clearing drains. And, of course, it removes the hazard of site operatives having to work in confined spaces."

Peter: "I didn't realise how much of an issue blocked drains can be when a site is in the build phase, and having seen the SiteStak in action with its new cutting attachment at Plantworx, there is certainly a lot to think about when it comes to drainage."
