Kubota UK introduce the new RT2102e and RT2202e battery powered wheel loaders

Peter Haddock talks to Geoff Smith of Kubota at its recent press launch to find out more about the new  RT210-2e and RT220-2e electric wheel loaders

Key highlights include:

• 48V DC lithium-ion battery (260/390/520Ah options)
• Rapid 60-90 mins recharge
• Capable of carrying a maximum load of 1140kg
• 2.825/ 2.2450m lift height
• 2200/2350 kg operating weight
• Two independent motors one for drive and the other for hydraulics
• Pivot steer of 44 degrees, perfect for enclosed working areas
• Equipped with a rear towing hook
• Very quiet with low levels of vibration
• Full lighting pack for safer operation

Geoff: “In light duty work, you can expect at least 8 hours of operation from this machine, and there are a number of charging options available, including a rapid charger. The range of battery options on this machine gives a lot of choice to the end user, making it ideal for plant hire fleets.”
