CASE Reveals Groundbreaking Cabless Construction Machine at Bauma

Case Construction brings the IMPACT to Bauma in a technology and solutions driven stand To see how its innovative eagle inspired IMPACT machine has landed, learn more about its specialist equipment division and electric hybrid partnership with Z-quip from Moog Construction, I spoke to Egidio Galano Egildio:

“Our IMPACT machine is the manifest of all the technologies that CASE will support its customers with on the job site of the future.” “It is a fully electric, cabless machine that maximises battery capacity for extended autonomy while enhancing safety. Operators can control it remotely from an operator station or at a distance using remote control.

It also has its own AI safety system on board to recognise people and obstacles We then spoke about CASE’s newly formed Special Applications Division rapidly tailoring customer solutions Egildio:“We receive more and more requests for customisation, and on our stand, we have an example of how we have designed a 13-tonne urban demolition machine for our customer.

It has a retractable undercarriage, tiltable cab, and zero tail swing, designed specifically to operate in tight urban environments. In addition, we have developed a fully electric battery or electric hybrid solution for customers who need an option NOW.

This is in partnership with industry leader Moog Construction and Zquip. It uses swappable battery modules, which can also work with a diesel module to create a hybrid machine. Egildio: “Our technology team has also created numerous semi-automated functions to support operators, including a “Click and Dig,” solution that helps to get a full bucket every time. It can also record and replicate actions optimised digging cycles.”
