Electric powered remote controlled demolition machines from Husqvarna

Electric powered, remote controlled demolition machines from Husqvarna pack the punch of much larger excavators, as product specialist Fredrik Linnell explained to Peter Haddock at the Molson Group open day.

It's the first time we have seen this product range and the array of attachments the small machines can use to get into even the tightest of spaces.

With a shoulder strap supported remote control that is quite comfortable, the range also keeps individual operators out of danger zones.

Key Facts:

  • Four products in the range with varying capabilities from fixed to telescopic arms.
  • Remote control capable of operating from a distance of up to 300m.
  • Small enough to fit through doors, agile enough to climb stairs, light enough to hang from a crane.
  • As powerful as an 8 tonne excavator with high hitting forces.
  • Range of attachment options from grabs to buckets, chisels to sheers and breakers to rotary drum cutters.
  • Compatible with additional attachments from other OEM’s.
  • Fixed mains cable required to power the machines.
  • Up to 85 litres/minute hydraulic flow for the larger machines.
  • Rubber tracked with stabilisers for heavy work.

Fredrik: "These machines are changing the way the demolition industry can work and electrically hydraulically driven, they are much better for the environment with no exhaust fumes to worry about.

"And they really are very powerful and manoeuvrable, which surprises a lot of people when you look at their size."

Molson Group is now the dealer for these machines, so service and support, critical for the demolition sector, is nationwide.
