From the British Army to being a Flannery Plant Operator

This is James Grant's story told with Lucas Haddock about how he used the Operator Skills Hub bootcamps to change his career from the 14 years in the British army to having tickets for multiple machines and using them on a regular basis.

James really enjoyed his time at the during the skills boot camp, but what made the real difference for James was that it's fully funded by the government and has top instructors who use army teaching methods, such as EDIP: Explain, Demonstrate, Imitate, and Practice.

James is currently working with Thames Water working on essential infrastructure like pipe line replacement and groundworks. And his advice to anyone considering it, "Go for it, You've got nothing to lose."
